Wikipedia

Turn Left, Turn Right (向左走??向右走, Cantonese: Heung joh chow heung yau chow) is a 2003 Hong Kong/Singapore romance film, filmed in Taipei. It was directed by Johnny To and Ka-Fai Wai and stars Gigi Leung and Takeshi Kaneshiro. The story is based on the manga A Chance of Sunshine by Jimmy Liao.

spoiler
Leung plays a translator, and Kaneshiro plays a violinist, who live parallel lives and appear to be perfect for each other, but somehow fate seems to keep them apart. They live in the same apartment building, but never meet, because when they leave, one turns left, and one turns right.

The movie features two songs performed by Gigi Leung, "The Luck for Two People" and "The Edge of the Magic Roundabout", and one by Stefanie Sun, "Yu Jian".
