Timothy C. Wong, Ph.D (黃宗泰, b. January 24 1941) is a Sinology|sinologist, translator, and literary theorist.

Dr. Wong received his Ph.D from Stanford University|Stanford University. He has taught at both Arizona State University and Ohio State University, and at both universities has held the title of Professor of Chinese. He is also the former director of the Center for Asian Studies at Arizona State University

Prof. Wong is currently working at Arizona State University|Arizona State University, in Tempe, Arizona, where he teaches classes on beginning Chinese, Chinese literature (including fiction), and graduate level seminars in selected areas of sinology. In addition to this, he serves as director of the graduate and undergraduate Chinese programs at ASU.
