Simon Ng

Wikipedia

Simon Ng (March 29, 1986-May 12, 2005) was an United States|American student. He was born in Hong Kong, with the Chinese name Sek Man Ng. In 2005, while a freshman at Queens College, he was murdered, together with his older sister, Sharon Ng.

Media attention was drawn to his case by the fact that Ng kept a Xanga weblog during his time at Queens College, and posted an entry just minutes to hours before his death. In this, he posted that a former boyfriend of his sister, Jin Lin, was visiting. This helped invalidate Jin Lin's alibi, resulting in Jin Lin being charged with two counts of first degree murder.
