Mina Shum (?????????; pinyin: Sh??n Xi??oy??) (born 1966 in Hong Kong) and is an independent Canada|Canadian filmmaker. She is director resident at the Canadian Film Centre in Toronto. She was also a member of an alternative rock band called Playdoh Republic.

She graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Film from University of British Columbia.

Her films include:

  • Picture Perfect (1989) short film at the Yorkton Film Festival
