1 Introduction
Ji (halberd)

Wikipedia

The Ji, the Chinese halberd, was used from the Shang dynasty onwards, until the Song dynasty. L?? Bu of the Three Kingdoms period was one of its most prominent wielders. The ji resembled a spear ( qiang ) with a small crescent blade attached to it, and was more of an infantry weapon, although it was used by cavalry and charioteers as well. There were also other types of ji, e.g. with a rectangular, serrated blade instead of the crescent-formed one, or spear tips with two curved blades.
