Inner (lower) trigram is ☷ (::: 坤 kun1) Field = (地) earth

Outer (upper) trigram is ☱ (||: 兌 dui4) Open = (澤) swamp

The trigrams can be read bottom to top as "With devotion to another/others (earth in lower) comes intensity in expression (lake in upper)"

The following material is drawn from analysis of the binary sequence of the hexagrams where the hexagrams are derived from recursion of yin/yang and so showing a property of the method - the hexagrams are all linked together and contribute to the expression of, the description of, each hexagram.

The skeletal form of hexagram 45 is described by analogy to the under-exaggerated properties of hexagram 25 where we have a generic focus on standing up in a congregation to express oneself. In 45 we form a congregation to celebrate 'faith', be it secular or religious.
