This station is part of the Shanghai Metro/Line|1 situated within the inner-ringway. This is the station situated closest to Yuyuan Garden, however it is still quite a long walk so most people decide to take a taxi from here. Another important area, Xintiandi is located within walking distance though. This is an old neighborhood in the original Shanghainese style. This area was bought by a property developer and turned into an expensive restaurant district. Because of the prices this area is mostly visited by foreign business men and tourists.
