This station is part of Shanghai Metro/Line|3 and a future transfer station to Shanghai Metro/Line|8. From this station a lot of regional buses leave to places mostly in the vincinity of Shanghai like Songjiang and Zhujiajiao. The amount of buses leaving from here is considerably less than at Shanghai Stadium though. Directly behind the stadium is Luxun Park, which contains the Luxun Mausoleum. This is the last resting place of famous Chinese writer Lu Xun. Within walking distance you can also find the Shanghai International Studies University, which makes many students use this station.
