High Tech Computer Corporation, known by its acronym HTC, is the Taiwan-based manufacturer of Microsoft Windows CE portable devices, responsible for models such as the O2 xda and O2 xda II. It was founded on May 15th 1997 and is strictly an outsourcing company, an Original Design Manufacturer (ODM), and thus its products are not sold under its own brand name. For this reason, it is probably the least well-known manufacturer of Windows-based mobile devices.

HTC's chairwoman is Cher Wang, daughter of one of Taiwan's richest men, petrochemicals billionaire Y.C. Wang, and the President is H.T. Cho. It went from strength to strength after being chosen by Microsoft as a hardware platform development partner for the Windows Mobile operating system (previously called Windows CE). HTC's sales revenue totalled TWD5.1bn ($163m) in May 2005, up 81.3 per cent on May 2004's total.

HTC's main divisions, including the IA (Information Appliance) engineering division and the WM (Wireless Mobile) engineering division, are ISO_9001|ISO-9001/ISO_14001|ISO-14001-qualified facilities.

HTC products are sold under several brand names, some of which include major telecommunication carriers, such as T-Mobile, O2 and Vodafone.

HTC is the ODM for the following IT companies that retail Windows Mobile based PDA's: Dell, Dopod, Fujitsu-Siemens, HP/Compaq, i-Mate, Krome and Qtek (HTC's own brand, used where none of the others are present).
