The Honourable Doctor Sir David Li Kwok-po GBS JP KBE (in Chinese: ?????????), born March 13, 1939 in London, England, with family roots in Hokshan (Heshan), Guangdong Province, China, is the current Chairman and Chief Executive of the Bank of East Asia in Hong Kong. His wife is Penny Li-Poon Kim Tsui (Chinese: ????????????; Note: spelling of English name uncertain). He is currently a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong|Legislative Council, elected in the functional constituency of Finance. He was awarded the KBE order in June, 2005 and honorary doctoral degrees from several universities, include University of Cambridge and The University of Hong Kong. He is also the current Chancellor|University Chancellors|Pro-Chancellor of The University of Hong Kong. Arthur Li, Secretary for Education and Manpower, is his younger brother.
