The Commission Against Corruption of Macau (Portuguese language|Portuguese - Comissariado contra a Corrup????o da Regi??o Administrativa Especial de Macau; Chinese language|Chinese - ????????????) was established after the handover from Portugal in 1999 from article 59 of the Basic Law of Macau and modeled after the Independent Commission Against Corruption of Hong Kong.

The CCAC replaced the High Commission Against Corruption and Administrative Illegality (Portuguese - Alto Comissariado Contra a Corrup????o e a Ilegalidade Administrativa) created in 1990 and began operations in 1992.

Commission Against Corruption of Macau

After 17 years, the Macau has an official agency to tackled the concerns over corruption and links to the city's casinos.
